Driver education can help reduce traffic crashes by improving driving skills and decision-making.

Award Details
· Applications must be completed in the online application portal at DriveAliveIndiana.org.
· Applications must be completed by the youth applicant and submitted online by February 28, 2023, at 11:00 pm.
· Driver's education course will be provided by Precision Driving and includes 30 hours of in-person classroom and six hours of driving.
· Award winners must attend the in-person driving education course.
· Award certificate will be valid for one year from date of issuance.
· All sections of the application must be completed for consideration for the award.

Applicant Eligibility
· Applicants must currently reside and attend high school in Allen County, Indiana.
· Award applicants must be 15 years old by the award deadline date, February 28, 2023.
· Applicants must have no legal limitations against obtaining a driver’s license.
· Parents or guardians of the youth applicant must commit to providing transportation for the youth to the driver education course.
